Position Title: Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatrist
Location: Tucson, AZ
Palo Verde Behavioral Health has a longstanding reputation for stability in mental health and substance-use treatment, serving patients in and around Tucson since 1960. We offer individualized, inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs for adults and adolescents.
Position Details:
- Patient population: Inpatient adolescent care for patients ages 12–17.
- Care Setting: Mostly inpatient work with additional adolescent PHP/IOP available (optional).
- Manageable Caseload: Average of 15 total patient encounters per day.
- Position Type: Full-time Employed W-2 with benefits or 1099 Independent Contractor available.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, days only.
- Call: No weekday call required.
- Weekends: Average 1:5 weekend rounding split amongst the team.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Competitive base salary range: $330,000-$350,000.
- Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance available.
- Bonus: Additional earnings through potential via Productivity Bonus and additional weekend coverage and evening call.

Requirements:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program required.
- Board certified or board eligible child & adolescent psychiatry required.
- Arizona medical license or the ability to obtain an Arizona medical license.
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
