Cumberland Hospital, nestled between Williamsburg and Richmond, is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis, exclusively focusing on Children and Adolescents.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct medical Histories & Physicals, consultations, and follow-ups for Residential treatment patients.
  • Proficiency in medical H&P's and continuity of care is essential.
  • Experience in handling a high volume of outpatient exams, including ear pain, lacerations, sore throats, abdominal pain, and diabetes management.
  • Familiarity with psychotropic medications is advantageous, although advanced certification/degree in psychiatry is not mandatory.

This role primarily addresses the medical needs of psychiatric patients, not psychiatric issues per se.
