We are seeking a part-time/PRN Psychiatrist to join a freestanding behavioral health hospital in Washington, DC. • Patient Volume: Moderate inpatient census in acute program
• Location: Washington, DC
• Practice Setting: Inpatient psychiatric hospital
• Support / Care Team: Psychiatrists, nursing staff, therapists, and administrative support
• EMR / Technology: Electronic Medical Record, Cerner system
Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and ongoing care to a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary support staff
• Manage day-to-day clinical responsibilities within the acute inpatient program
• Document patient care using the EMR system

Qualifications
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active or eligible Washington, DC medical license
• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Willingness to take on 2 weekend shifts per month.
• Experience or willingness to treat all ages, including patients with substance use disorders
